This is a picture of me and my classmates when we were in eleventh grade in high school. This picture was taken about six years ago and I about fifteen years old at that time. We were very happy at the time this picture was taken because we just finished our final exam and it was our last day in the eleventh grade.

Greetings from Colombo:

Today is the last day of school, my eleventh grade. I have been waiting for this day for so long. I'm not a big fan of school so I'm always looking forward to the last day, and that day is today. All my friends are very excited about school being over. There are about forty kids in my class and almost everyone is in this picture.

This picture was taken in our classroom and I’m standing at the back center in the picture. We’re all wearing school uniform which was white pants and white shirts. We never liked the idea of having to wear a uniform everyday but it was something we needed to do along with many other school rules likes cutting our hair short. So we had to wait until we had holidays to grow our hair.

We all look happy in this picture mainly because its December, we're all excited for the new year. We just finished our final exams so that's a big relief. When we come back to school again after about a month's holiday we'ĺl be in twelfth grade. We're done with eleventh grade and we're looking forward to being seniors.
