This memory is one of many that details Corinne's affection for her grandfather, who she called Pop. The camper they stayed in many times during the summer remains a place of significant importance to Corinne, as it is the place she thinks of when remembering her grandparents.

"Okay number four, let's you and I go down to the boards, eh?"

Pop rose from the yellow couch of the camper, a pretty rare occurrence, seeing as how he couldn't walk all that well. As much as I like spending quality time with him in our 70's era camper, I'm pretty excited to get out and go somewhere.

On the Wildwood boardwalk, we find a place that is part casino, part arcade. Pop settles into a stool that sits in front of a card-game machine that my 12-year old mind doesn't really understand.

"Here's some money Corinney," he remarks as his first game flashes into life, "go off and have some fun in the arcade." I make my way over to the glaring neon lights and loud bleeps of the arcade to try my hand at the Claw Game.

Far too many failed attempts later,  and with an attitude of disdain for the whole section, I give the ball-drop game a whirl. Lo and behold, the ball falls right where I want it too on the first time, and an innumerable amount of tickets come pouring out the machine.
